I finished my bike this past Monday night. I think I can safely say it is the most ungodly obnoxious bike I have had in several years. Orange bodywork, orange cylinder, glaspack muffler, fishtail pipe, fringed grip and lever covers, solo seat, blue dot taillight, mini rear turn signals...
Straight out of the immediate World War 2 to early 1970s choper/bobber heyday. Even sounds right. I'll try to find Lisa's Dad's digital camera and get some photos done and up here. Anyone have some original late 40s or early 50's saddlebags they want to get rid of, cheap? That is the only thing I have left to put on before rally season.
